Athens 8th A Sweeps Canton; 7th B Makes Court Debut in Junior High Volleyball

Athens 8th A swept in Canton Saturday morning with a high energy 2 set win: 25-16, 25-19.

Athens showed dominant force in both games serving 87% and 78% from the line and effective serve receive. The Lady Wildcats advance their season record to 2-0.

The Athens 7th B made their season debut at Canton Saturday. Despite a Game 1 loss, 9-25, the team rallied back strong with great serving and teamwork in Game 2 before falling to Canton, 19-25.

Athens 8th A and 8th B play their next game home on Wednesday, September 4th at 6:00 PM against Cowanesque Valley in the Lynch Bustin Gymnasium.
