Athens Places Second At Dallas Tournament; Drops Three-Set Thriller In Finals

DALLAS, Pa. - Athens pulled off an upset in the semifinals, then dropped a three-set thriller to Tunkhannock in the championship match of the Dallas Volleyball Tournament here Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats went 4-2 in Pool A to take second place, and earn a trip to bracket play.
Athens lost to Dallas by scores of 25-13, and 25-14, but bounced back to beat Greater Nanticoke 25-14 and 25-21.
