Athens Rallies, But Falls To Danville, 5-4

ATHENS - Athens rallied to tie the game in the home half of the sixth inning, but Danville scored in the top of the seventh to pull out a 5-4 win here Monday afternoon in non-league softball action.

The Wildcats have lost consecutive one-run games on the heels of a six-game winning streak.

The Ironmen took advantage of a pair of errors to break a scoreless tie with four runs in the top of the fifth inning.
