Bronson Wins Small School Race At Owego Night Invite, Wanck Finishes 4th

OWEGO - Athens senior Sara Bronson won the Small School Division race at the Owego Night Cross Country Invite here Friday night, and four other Valley girls finished in the top six.
The Wildcats also finished second in the team standings.
Bronson, who finished third overall behind Ithaca ace Tsadia Bercuvitz (13:52.0) and Ithaca freshman standout Avery Whittaker (15:26.7), clocked in with a time of 15:32.7.
Athens sophomore Graham Wanck finished fourth overall, and second in the Small School Division race here Friday night at the Owego Night Cross Country Invite to lead the Wildcats to a fourth-place finish in the team standings.
Wanck and senior Sara Bronson also received the Bob Fenton Award for the fastest time of the night in their grade.
