Mickley's Goal Lifts Athens To 1-0 Win Over Towanda

TOWANDA - Senior Lucius Mickley scored the game's lone goal late in the first half to lift Athens to a 1-0 win over Towanda in NTL Large School Division boys soccer action here on a rainy Wednesday afternoon at the Endless Mountains Sports Complex.
Defense ruled the day, with both teams managing just three shots-on-goal apiece in the game. Athens had a 4-1 edge in corner kicks.
