Troy Puts Game Away With Three Late Goals; Blanks Athens, 4-0

ATHENS - Troy scored three goals in less than five minutes late in the game to blow open a one-goal game on its way to a 4-0 win over Athens here Wednesday afternoon in NTL girls soccer action at Alumni Stadium.

"We stayed in the game for a while, then I changed formation and it backfired," said Athens coach Rich Pitts. "The loss is totally on me, the girls played hard the whole game."

Gianni Renzi scored the only goal of the first half for the Trojans.
