Athens Blanks Towanda, 3-0, For 11th Shutout Of Season

ATHENS - Three different Athens players found the net, two off assists from freshman Chase Gombocz, in a 3-0 win over Towanda here Wednesday night in the "Kick Out Cancer" game here at Alumni Stadium.

"It was a special night," said Athens coach Travis Reynard. "We had the stands full of people from all over to support our 'Kick Out Cancer' game, and it was great to see all the support for not just the cause, but also our team as well."

Reynard said his team's offensive efforts were a little off all night.
