Athens Hangs Tough In 50-39 Loss To Division Champ Troy

ATHENS - Troy took the lead early on its way to a 50-39 win over a pesky Athens squad here Thursday night in NTL Large School Division girls basketball action.
Troy, now 16-4, clinched its second straight division title with a 68-27 win over Towanda Tuesday.
The Trojans jumped out to a 16-10 lead in the first quarter, thanks to nine points from Alyssa Parks.
