Athens Pounds Out 19-4 Win Over Wyalusing; Improves To 3-0

WYALUSING - Athens scored in every inning, including a nine-run outburst in the second inning, en route to a 19-4 four-inning win over Wyalusing here Thursday in NTL Large School Division baseball action.

"Offensively we have been locked in," said Athens coach Charlie Havens. "(Nick) Grazul had a big day with a dinger. Duncan (Thetga) pitched well," noted Havens. "He was around the plate all day. It's exciting stuff."

The Wildcats finish off the first week at 3-0 with wins over Troy, Wellsboro, and Wyalusing.
