Athens Rides Fast Start To 56-26 Win Over Wellsboro

ATHENS - Athens jumped out to an early double-digit lead, and cruised to a 56-26 win over Wellsboro here Saturday afternoon in NTL Large School Division girls basketball action.
Sophomore McKenna Jarvis scored seven points, including an old-fashion three-point play, in the first quarter, and senior Sara Bronson canned a 3-pointer and scored points as the Wildcats built an early 14-4 lead.
Senior Addy Wheeler scored seven points to spark at 17-7 second-quarter run as Athens extended its lead to 32-11 at the half.
