Athens Rolls Over Hornell, 15-0; Improves To 13-0

HORNELL - Athens scored two runs in the top of the first inning, then added runs in bunches on its way to a 15-0 win over Hornell here Wednesday afternoon in non-league softball action.
Sophomore Gretchan Hiley was the beneficiary of the Wildcat offensive onslaught, earning the win with six strong innings. She allowed three hits, while striking out 11 and walking four.
Junior Maddie Hiley struck out one in a perfect inning of relief.
