Athens Runs Record To 4-0; Tops Wyalusing 17-4

WYALUSING - Athens scored two runs in the top of the first inning, then blew the game open in the second on its way to a 17-4 win over Wyalusing here Thursday afternoon in NTL Large School softball action.

Sophomore McKenna Jarvis, junior Maddie Hiley, and freshman Memphis Paul combined for eight hits and eight RBI to support winning pitcher sophomore Gretchan Hiley.

With one out in the top of the first, Maddie Hiley walked, took second on a passed ball, and scored on an RBI single by Jarvis, who later scored on an RBI single by Paul.
