Athens Wins First Set; Wellsboro Rallies For 3-1 Win

ATHENS - Athens pulled out a hard-fought win in the first set, but Wellsboro re-group to win the next three sets for a 3-1 win here Thursday night in NTL Large School volleyball action.
The Wildcats won the first set 27-25, but the Hornets answered with wins of 25-11, 25-13, and 25-18.
"We fought hard in that first set," said Athens coach Heather Darrow. "We have to find a way to keep that energy going through to the rest of the match."
