Brookville Tops Athens, 48-34, In Opening Round Of Central Mountain Tip-Off Tourney

MILL HALL, Pa. - Brookville jumped out to a quick lead, and pulled away for a 48-34 win over Athens here Friday night in the opening round of the Central Mountain Tip-Off Tournament.
The Raiders led 13-6 after the opening eight minutes, then used a 16-7 second-quarter run to take a 29-13 lead into the halftime intermission.
Brookville outscored Athens, 15-7, in the third quarter to stretch its advantage to 44-20 heading into the final eight minutes.
