Cold-Shooting Second Quarter Dooms Athens In 62-35 Loss To NP-Mansfield

ATHENS - Athens played a strong eight minutes to start the game, then went stone cold in a decisive second quarter in a 62-35 loss to North Penn-Mansfield here Tuesday night in NTL Large School Division boys basketball action.

Sophomore Lucas Schultz and senior Jase Babcock scored four points apiece in the first quarter to help the Wildcats to a 14-13 lead after the opening stanza.
