Davidson Throws 2-Hitter; Athens Blanks CV, 12-0

WESTFIELD - Sophomore Connor Davidson tossed a 2-hitter, and received plenty of offensive support in Athens' 12-0 five-inning win over Cowanesque Valley here Thursday afternoon in NTL baseball action.
Davidson fanned seven and walked two to earn the win in the five-inning shutout.
The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead on an unearned run in the top of the first inning, and added a run in the second on an RBI single by sophomore Duncan Thetga to make it 2-0.
