Jarvis Sparks Athens In Rout Of Cowanesque Valley

ATHENS - Junior McKenna Jarvis sparked a first-quarter blitz that propelled Athens in a 60-14 rout of Cowanesque Valley here Wednesday night in NTL girls basketball action.
Jarvis pumped in 13 points and sophomore Alissa Vough added an old-fashioned three-point play in the Wildcats 22-4 barrage in the opening eight minutes.
Jarvis scored seven more points, including a 3-pointer in an 11-5 second-quarter run that extended the Athens lead to 33-9 at the half.
