ATHENS - Troy scored three goals in the second half to pull away from Athens in a 5-2 win here Thursday night in NTL girls soccer action at Alumni Stadium.
Troy, now 11-1 overall, is 7-0 in league play, and holds a three-game lead over the closest team in the standings.
"It was a great game by both teams," said Athens coach Rich Pitts. "I thought we really played a strong second half and hung with them in the first half."
