WYALUSING - After three quarters of back-and-forth basketball, Athens used a strong fourth quarter to pull out a 45-36 win over Wyalusing here Monday night in NTL junior varsity boys basketball action.

ATHENS - Senior Addy Wheeler posted a double-double, including a career-high 25 points, to lead Athens to a 47-24 win over Trumansburg here Monday night in non-league girls basketball action.

WYALUSING - After playing even for three quarters, Athens turned up the defensive pressure, and pulled out a 47-38 win over Wyalusing here Monday night in NTL Large School Division boys basketball action.

ROME - Jase Babcock scored five points in the last 30 seconds to propel Athens past NEB, 50-45, in a defensive battle during NTL boys' hoops action Friday.

LEHIGHTON, Pa. - Sophomore Zaine Campbell reached the quarterfinals, and three of his teammates are still alive in the consolation bracket after Day 1 of action here Friday at the rugged Coal Cracker Invitational.
