NEW MILFORD, Pa. - Athens played four quarters of "intense" defense, and the offense caught up in the second half of a 65-45 win over Blue Ridge here Monday night in non-league boys basketball action.

WILLIAMSPORT - Junior Evelyn Panek logged Athens' only win here Saturday at the Williamsport Swimming & Diving Invitational, while the Wildcat foursome of seniors Ethan Hicks and Ronel Ankam and sophomores Brayden Pettitt and Eli Hicks set a new school record in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

ATHENS - Mount Carmel used a big fourth quarter to blow open a close game en route to a 70-47 win over Athens here Saturday afternoon in non-league boys basketball action.

ATHENS - Division champion Troy used a strong fourth quarter to put away a game Athens team in a 71-52 win here Friday night in NTL Large School boys basketball action.

TURBOTVILLE, Pa. - Warrior Run won four of the last five matches here Wednesday night to pull out a 35-29 win over Athens in non-league wrestling action.
