Patton Powers Athens To 2-1 Win Over NP-Mansfield

MANSFIELD - Junior Delanie Patton scored two goals to lift Athens to a 2-1 win over North Penn-Mansfield here Saturday in NTL Large School Division girls soccer action.
"It was another great game from the girls," said Athens coach Rich Pitts. "They keep progressing on what we are working on. "I thought we did a great job in possession, and had a ton of chances," added Pitts.
The Tigers scored 17 1/2 minutes into the game, and led 1-0 for about 13 minutes.
