Strong Pitching Carries Athens To Wins Over Towanda, Edison In Same Day

ATHENS - Sophomore Connor Davidson and junior Nick Grazul each turned in strong pitching performances to lead Athens to wins over Towanda and Thomas A. Edison Saturday afternoon in baseball action.
Athens opened the day with a 6-2 win at Towanda, and finished off the day at home with a 10-0 five-inning win over Thomas A. Edison.
At Wysox, Davidson gave up a pair of runs in the first inning, but was dominant for the remainder of the game in leading Athens to a 6-2 win over Towanda in NTL Large School Division action.
At Athens, Grazul tossed five shutout innings to lead the Wildcats to a 10-0 non-league win over Thomas A. Edison Saturday afternoon.
