Athens Ride Flurry Of Pins To 60-16 Win Over Towanda

ATHENS - Athens won nine of the 10 contested weight classes - all by fall - in a 60-16 win over Towanda here Wednesday night in NTL girls wrestling action.

The Wildcats, now 2-1, scored five of their nine falls in the first period.

Sophomore Hailey Brinkley gave the Wildcats an early 6-0 lead with a pin of Hailey Harbst in 2:55 in their 100-pound bout, then sophomore Alyssa Rinebold needed just 75 seconds to pin Kaylee Johnson at 106 pounds to make it 12-0.
