MILTON - Athens poured 12 runs across the plate in the top of the first inning in a 17-1 three-inning win over Milton here Monday afternoon in non-league baseball action.
Junior Duncan Thetga knocked in the first two runs of the game with a single, and junior Connor Davidson followed with a two-run double to right field make it 4-0.
After a wild pitch made it 5-0, senior Eli Hobday stroked an RBI single to right field, and junior Alex McQuay lined an RBI double into the gap to make it 7-0.
