Division-Leading Troy Rolls Past Athens, 52-29

TROY - Division-leading Troy remained unbeaten in league play with a 52-29 win over Athens here Friday night in NTL Large School girls basketball action.

The Trojans took command immediately, scoring the first 17 points of the game.

Troy led 11-0 after the first eight minutes, then outscored Athens 21-8 in the second quarter to take a 32-8 lead into the halftime break.

The Wildcats outscored the Trojans, 21-20, in the second half.
