Errors Costly In Athens' 4-0 Setback At Wyalusing

WYALUSING - Errors proved costly for Athens as Wyalusing avenged an early-season loss with a 4-0 win here Thursday afternoon in NTL softball action.

The Wildcats committed six errors, resulting in four unearned runs.

The Rams scored on a two-out wild pitch in the bottom of the second inning to take a 1-0 lead, then benefitted from two Wildcat errors in the fifth inning to plate two runs to extend the lead to 3-0.

Wyalusing added an insurance run in the sixth inning on two Athens miscues.
