Grubb Finishes Second At Class AA Championships; Punches Ticket To States

BLOOMSBURG - Athens senior Penelope Grubb finished second Saturday at the District 4, Class AA Girls Diving Championships here at Bloomsburg High School and punched her ticket the PIAA Championships.
Grubb had a career-best 11-dive score of 246.7 to edge out third-place finisher Leah Hasenblag of Danville, who tallied 235.75 points.
Izzy Marks of Danville won the District 4 title with a mark of 316.2 points.
