Pettitt Breaks Two Meet Record To Pace Strong Athens Showing At 'Keep The Beat Invite'

DIMOCK, Pa. - Junior Brayden Pettitt won four events, and set a pair of new meet records to lead the Athens swim teams in a strong showing here Friday at the Keep the Beat Invitational at Elk Lake High School.

Pettitt set new meet records in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 100-yard individual medley, while the Lady Wildcat 200-yard freestyle relay foursome of seniors Olivia Thompson, Evelyn Panek and Elizabeth Denlinger and junior Kaitlyn Leonard also set a new meet record.

Panek eclipsed the former meet record in the 50-yard freestyle, but finished second by 0.01 seconds.
