CRESSON, Pa. - Athens crowned six champions and had three others finish in the top-four here Saturday in girls wrestling action at the Panther Valley Classic here on the campus of Mount Aloysius College.

HONESDALE, Pa. - Senior Hanna Rathbun and freshman Skylynn Payne each won individual titles for the second weekend in a row, and led Athens to a second-place finish at the rugged Queen of the Hive Tournament.

ATHENS - Athens crowned three champs - senior Hanna Rathbun, junior Joyce Clink, and freshman Skylynn Payne - and had two runners-up, and won the team title here Saturday at the annual Jarvis Memorial Girls Wrestling Tournament.

WILLIAMSPORT - Athens crowned three champs - senior Emma Renninger, junior Leah Nason, and sophomore Abigail Wagner, and advanced eight girls to Regionals here Saturday afternoon, while placing second at the District 4 Girls Wrestling Championships at Williamsport High School.

WILLIAMSPORT - Senior Emma Renninger was Athens' lone champion, but seven of her teammates also reached the podium to lead the Wildcats to a second-place finish here Saturday afternoon at the Williamsport Girls Wrestling Showcase.

JIM THORPE, Pa. - Junior Hanna Rathbun won six straight matches, including four by fall, to win her weight class at the rugged Coal Cracker Invite, leading Athens to a third-place finish in the 58-team field.

TOWANDA - Athens won two of its three matches Saturday here at the Towanda Quad meet, topping Mifflinburg and the Black Knights, while falling to a strong Western Wayne squad.
